What this site is

My Lolophoto is a private, invite-only site run by one person, Lawrence Tolentino, for sharing personal photo albums with family and friends. It is run personally and non-commercially: nothing is sold here and there is no advertising.

What it collects

  • Your account: your email address, the name you enter, and — if you sign in with Google — the profile picture Google provides. Also your display preferences and the dates you requested access and last signed in.
  • Your phone number, only if you choose to add one. It is stored after you confirm it with a code we text you.
  • Photos you upload to an album you were invited to, and who uploaded them.
  • Face grouping: photos in the albums are grouped by the faces that appear in them, so an album can be filtered to one person. A group can be given a name and linked to an account. This runs on the owner's own photo library, not on anything you upload elsewhere.

There is no analytics, tracking, or advertising code on this site.

Text messages

If you add a phone number, it is used for two things: one-time sign-in codes, and — only if you switch them on — a text when a new album is shared with you. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Your phone number and your consent to be texted are never shared or sold to anyone, and are never used for marketing. You can remove your number, or turn text notifications off, at any time on your profile page.

Who else sees it

Nothing here is sold or shared for advertising. Your information reaches only the services this site runs on:

  • Amazon Web Services — hosting and storage (United States), and delivery of the emails and texts the site sends.
  • SmugMug — where the photo albums themselves are hosted.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Other people using the site see your name, and the photos you upload to a shared album. They do not see your email address or phone number.

Keeping it, and getting rid of it

Your information is kept while your account exists. Email support@lolophoto.com to see what is stored about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Requests are handled by one person, so allow a few days.

This site is meant for adults invited by the owner; it is not directed at children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to support@lolophoto.com.
